Jess began to develop her feel and path in the animal world over 20 years ago with her roots in classical dressage (an English horseback riding discipline that literally means “to train”) teaching riding lessons, and supporting the care of a barn full of equine athletes. Although Jess has worked with animals most of her life, her passion for dog training was ignited in 2013 by her “problem dog,” Piper. Piper catapulted Jess into a world of behavior modification and sport training, and she never looked back.
Jess is a firm believer in training the dog in front of you, and continually exploring new ways to improve our canine companions’ behavior.
